CAN structure and sustainable development priorities
The Nepal office is in Kathmandu and is staffed by an Accountant/Secretary, an assistant Accountant/Secretary, an Education/Organisation Manager, a Health/Human Resource Manager, a Community Development/Finance Manager, an Overseer, a Sub-overseer (post currently vacant), a Caretaker and Night Watchman. The dedicated Kathmandu based staff oversee a large team in the field comprising CAN teachers and CAN trained nurses and health workers who are based at CAN supported schools and health posts, CAN supported community projects and at a Porter Shelter. There is also a Nepali Executive Management Committee that provides a monitoring facility and support for the local operation. |

The UK office is
based near Carlisle, Cumbria. There is a UK Trustee Board who meet
quarterly to check the financial situation, monitor the delivery of
the projects and they are accountable the sponsors. Community Action
Nepal currently has a UK Representative resident in Nepal who
liaises
between UK and Nepal.
