CAN Projects Lower Solukhumbu Area - Ghunsa Health Post Back in 1996 discussion was taking place over the issue of training a local girl as a nurse from the village who would be able to return to Ghunsa and work in the local health post that serves the area. In 2001 application was made to the local Government Office to register the health post thus enabling it to operate more efficiently. The post is situated in the old school building, reservation work has been undertaken and the community is now making good use of the facility. |
