Alfie Nott and a couple of his friends from Ecclesall Infant School held a toy sale to raise funds for Nepal.
This came about as a result of Alfie reading a news article about the impact of the earthquake on the children. He then decided that he wanted to do something to help so asked his headteacher if he would be able to organise a toy sale at school to raise money.
He and his classmates made posters to advertise the event and the children donated their unwanted toys.
ALL toys were sold at the sale and the fantastic sum of £300.00 was raised.
Well done to Alfie and friends with big thanks from CAN for such entrepreneurial skills!Go Back
