Ten in Ten in Ten 4 Nepal – fundraising event, Peak District Saturday 16th May
The Outdoor Community in the Peak district are organising a special fundraising event to raise essential funds for the people of Nepal who have recently suffered from the earthquakes in Nepal (April 2015).
On Saturday 16th May a challenge event called ‘Ten in Ten in Ten 4 Nepal’ will be held where you are invited to attempt to climb ten routes in ten miles in ten hours. The event will take place in the Peak District.
Funds raised will be donated to Community Action Nepal for our work in rebuilding and supporting mountain communities.
If you are an outdoor company – please share and promote this page among your client base.
If you are a qualified MI or SPA holder please volunteer to guide people for the day. You will earn nothing – but the charity will earn at least £50 per person.
If you are a trainee SPA (with a valid first aid ticket) please volunteer to rig and supervise a route for people to climb through the day. (You will also need to provide a spare harness and helmet).
If you are a competent. climber, sign up with a mate, donate £50 and join us for the day.
If you have never climbed in your life but are up for a challenge, just get in touch and further details will follow.
In all cases, please get in touch with the event organiser Will Legon: firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the event Facebook Page click here
