Lecture Title: “Significant and Joyous Moments of Being in the Mountains”
This brand new lecture, lavishly illustrated with Doug’s celebrated mountain photography, gives a very personal account of a lifetime spent in the world’s highest mountains – both the highs and the lows. The lecture covers Doug’s big wall climbing from humble beginnings on the gritstone of Derbyshire, through to routes on the big walls of the world and then onto major expeditions in the Himalaya. This lecture gives a wonderful insight into Doug’s thoughts as he reflects on a life of adventure.
