GOKYO PORTER RESCUE SHELTER RECENT PROGRESS- please click on the images to enlarge them
Gobinda Sharma, CAN’s Technical and Liaison Officer, has just sent these inspiring pictures which show the excellent progress being made constructing the latest IPPG/CAN Porter Rescue Shelter. Our aim is to have the building complete up to roof level and water tight by the autumn.
The skilled craftsman, some of whom have worked on our previous shelters, have now completed the much of the basic fabric of the building and are now beginning the joinery work and constructing the toilets.
