Cumbrian Scouts visit Nepal, Easter 2013

Cumbria Explorer Scouts will be leaving the UK on Thursday this week, travelling to Nepal where they will spend two weeks trekking, working at CAN projects and sight-seeing around Kathmandu.

The group were name-checked on the Chris Evans Radio 2 Breakfast Show on Tuesday 26th March…. celebrities already!

The Explorer Scouts (aged 17 +) have a number of tasks to complete including working at Ghunsa School, visiting Bahrabise School for Deaf Children, learning a Nepali song and teaching Nepali children an English song!

CAN wishes the Scouts all the best for their exciting  trip – it will be an Easter holiday to remember!  Look out for a report of their experiences on the CAN website on their return.
